The space of the exhibition draws us a surreal picture of Maestro’s dream, in which memories, people and characters from his life are collected, where authentic memorial volumetric objects interact with unreal – flat ones. The figurative solution is presented in the form of an open book on the table, symbolizing the life of Gaetano Ciniselli. Sheets with design drawings, engravings, programs and personal documents, like fragments of memories, are intertwined with the characters of the productions. The composition is completed by a mirror-portal evoking the family members of the founder and the first director of the St Petersburg Circus from the past. The coloristic solution is based on the contrast of black and white engravings and colored three-dimensional exhibits. The three-dimensional composition is based on the interplay of two window niche windows by means of a dynamic structure of sheets. It flows from one showcase to another, linking them into a single whole.
